The vase is part of a series of objects for the home that stem from the idea of subtraction of matter from a net volume, visualizing the image of a tub of ice cream hollowed out by a spoon. Pure volumes subtracted from as many volumes as cylinders and spheres that sometimes divide and then complete as a whole.
