In 2019 in Capofaro, there was plenty of rain, allowing good water supply to the vines. The average annual temperature was not high, but among the lowest of the decade. The spring months recorded higher temperatures, while August was decidedly cooler, ensuring slow ripening of the grapes and preservation of the aromas. A hot and humid year, comparable to 2007, ideal conditions for the maturation of Malvasia.
