It is inspired by the "wheat pizza" or " wheat pastiera", a typical Neapolitan pie traditionally eaten during the Easter holidays in Campania. A soft dough leavened with pastiera ingredients: wheat, ricotta cheese, orange zest, flavoured with orange blossom infusion and a tasty filling of ricotta cream and wheat.
