In 1971 Dino Gavina introduced the 'functional work of art', inaugurating a new concept of furniture that adapted the surrealist object to everyday use. Hence the birth of the Ultramobile collection: a proposal that lives on imagination, that complements rational intelligence with wonder, that makes geometry interact with fantasy.
