The particularly delicious ‘bombardino’ panettone is named after a drink made with cream, hot zabaglione and coffee, typical of Italian ski resorts and particularly popular in mountain huts for warming both body and soul in cold weather. It features a soft, flavourful coffee-flavoured sponge with chocolate chips, soaked in coffee infusion and filled with a delicious zabaglione spread, topped with white chocolate and cocoa.
