The traditional recipe for Classic Panettone has its roots in Milanese tradition, which is why BreraMilano1930 crafts this classic Christmas cake, paying homage to the tradition by using the ‘Milanese pound’ as its weight – that is, 1120 g. The basic dough, made from flour, butter, eggs, water and sourdough starter, is enriched with sultanas and candied citrus fruits, in a production process where every stage is carefully attended to: from mixing to packaging. The wrapping reflects the traditional style of Milanese patisseries, drawing inspiration from designs of the 1930s, and is folded entirely by hand.
